Visited 2 fuel pumps (as per IOCL site) in 25 km radius in bangalore searching for XP100. Both out of stock and bunk owner says the stock comes from Gujrat which probably takes 2-3 days. Pathetic!! Even if one is willing to pay, the desired fuel is not available. 🤬

None of the fuel pumps ever gave info on what blends were offered until the E20 mandate. The blend slowly eat through vehicles and general public simply thought something was wrong with their vehicles and not the fuel. Chor Salo!

अगर E20 से सचमुच गाड़ियाँ बड़े पैमाने पर खराब हो रही होतीं, तो पिछले पाँच वर्षों में देशभर की सड़कें बंद पड़ी कारों और दोपहिया वाहनों से भर जातीं।

सच्चाई यह है कि 2021 में E15, 2024 में E19 और अप्रैल 2025 से E20 उपलब्ध है। आज लगभग 2.5 करोड़ पेट्रोल कारें और 20 करोड़ से अधिक दोपहिया वाहन E15+ मिश्रित ईंधन पर चल रहे हैं।

अगर केजरीवाल का दावा सही होता, तो बीमा कंपनियाँ प्रीमियम बढ़ा देतीं और सेकेंड-हैंड पेट्रोल गाड़ियों का बाज़ार ध्वस्त हो जाता। लेकिन हकीकत इसके बिल्कुल उलट है। भारत का सेकेंड-हैंड कार बाज़ार आज सालाना लगभग 60 लाख वाहनों का है, जिसकी कीमत 40 अरब डॉलर से अधिक है और FY2031 तक इसके 70–82 अरब डॉलर तक पहुँचने का अनुमान है।

कुछ चुनिंदा वीडियो दिखाकर झूठ फैलाया जा सकता है, लेकिन सच्चाई नहीं बदली जा सकती। अरविंद केजरीवाल एक बार फिर तथ्यों की जगह भ्रम और झूठ बेच रहे हैं।

Petrol blended with 20 per cent ethanol (E20) can reduce fuel economy by 3-5 per cent in some vehicles, the Oil Ministry said on Friday, but argued the impact is outweighed by benefits, including a higher octane rating, superior anti-knock characteristics, faster combustion, better pickup, smoother acceleration, cleaner engine operation, and lower lifecycle carbon emissions.

In a detailed question-and-answer document issued to counter criticism of the Ethanol Blended Petrol Programme, the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas said E20 was a "cleaner, higher-quality and more efficient fuel" than E10 or pure petrol and had been rolled out only after years of scientific testing, consultations with automobile manufacturers and the expansion of domestic ethanol production.

The ministry rejected concerns that the programme had been implemented too quickly, saying India's ethanol blending initiative dates back to pilot projects launched in 2001, with 5 per cent blending introduced in parts of the country by 2006.

I am ready to bring my 2011 VW Vento to Jantar Mantar if you wish to see it yourself and still don’t believe my story.

I had sold this car to my driver. He uses it to travel with his family for functions and occasions. Yesterday, it suddenly refused to start.

When I contacted VW Chandigarh, they quoted ₹18,000 and said they would have to arrange the parts.

Imagine a person earning just ₹12,000 per month having to bear such a cost, especially when the car is out of warranty.

Instead, we got it repaired from a local mechanic for just ₹4,400.

I would have happily driven this car to Delhi, but your 10-year vehicle scrappage policy and related rules stopped me.

A perfectly good, well-maintained vehicle is now being pushed towards the scrap yard because of these policies.

It genuinely pains me to see both my driver and this reliable car suffer because of this!!

Even vehicles from before 2023 can run on E20 without any problem. As I mentioned, studies show a slight drop in mileage—around 4-5%. This does happen. The reason is that ethanol has lower energy content; hence, mileage decreases by about 4 to 5% with E20. In fact, performance actually improves because the vehicle's acceleration gets better.
