This trailer marked the reboot of LOTF - our first major announcement since the original game launched eight years earlier.
It had to cut through.
Soulslike narrators tend to be ancient, omniscient voices: wise old men, creepy old women, sinister young girls…
We wanted something different.
That summer, Stranger Things gave us our answer: Joe Quinn. Half dungeon master, half rock frontman.

A lot has happened in the four years since.

Lords of the Fallen 2 hits its next internal milestone next Monday.
The studio is working more united than ever. As of today every development department is fully integrated with the Launch Creative Team (including veteran players) to push the game vision as far as it can go.
Myself and all studio directors share one cohesive, transparent vision. Every decision puts players at the center.
Our culture has evolved: performance-driven and laser-focused on delivering top-class experiences.
That’s the formula I’m betting on for a successful launch and long-term studio longevity.
We recently received an email from a player with over 40 suggestions on how to improve the franchise with the upcoming Lords of the Fallen II. As I read down the list, I couldn’t help but smile as I realised we’ve already actioned nearly all of their feeedback. As a little taster, yes, weapon tincts confirmed.
So much still to reveal and honestly can’t wait!
