@buildwithumair@LotiqLab Yeah, I’m already working towards that. Moving Lotiqlab more into AI + agentic motion design is definitely part of the future plan. This is actually a pretty interesting direction.
@buildwithumair@LotiqLab tbh still figuring this out 😭
Rn, mostly X, Product Hunt, had tried Reddit (but always get caught by reddit filters)+ few design/tool directories.
the distribution part is honestly harder than building the thing lol...
As a solo builder, my morning is basically:
check that nothing broke → check emails → build → ship → break something → fix it → repeat.
I’m trying to move as fast as possible with LotiqLab, and yeah, I miss things and break stuff along the way.
The harder part for me is figuring out the technical solution behind a product idea when I’m coming from a design background.
But honestly, that’s also where I’m learning the most.
Another deployment shipped today. 🫡
Just shipped audio 🎵 in LotiqLab[dot]com
Add audio directly to your timeline, trim it, adjust volume, fade it, and sync it with your motion.
Motion, now with sound.
Designing and iterating is getting ridiculously fast.
I was working on a new header/banner for X + LinkedIn and generated these 6 directions with AI pretty quickly.
The last 2 are where I took over and added my own taste, tweaks and weird little decisions.
Feels like the job is slowly shifting from making every variation yourself to knowing which variation is actually worth keeping.
One random side project is getting users from countries I've never been to
Built a tiny tool to scratch my own itch around small tweaks and watermark removal from lottie animation.
Didn't expect much from it.
A few weeks later I started seeing users from the US, Germany, Brazil, Japan, and a bunch of other places.
Still feels weird seeing people use something while I'm asleep.
Curious, what's the most unexpected thing you've built that strangers actually started using?

I built LotiqLab because I wanted motion design to feel a lot less complicated and more accessible
Today, it’s live on @ProductHunt
It started as a small tool for my own workflow. I kept adding the things I actually wanted: editing, animation presets, Figma → motion, AI, previews and exports.
Now 400+ people across 40+ countries have used it. and 1000+ animation exported
It’s still free.
If you work with motion, I’d genuinely love to know what you think.
