I know I’ve been somewhat inactive. I’m 5 days away from surgery #2. Trying to prepare physically and mentally. I’ll be under for 6hrs with a 8-12 week recovery. I doubt I’ll be here much if at all before then and for a while after. Love y’all ❤️😘

Just checking in. I’m not sure if I’m ready to come back yet. This extended break has done wonders. Thank you to all of you that have checked in on me. My surgery was successful even though recovery has been LONG! I’ll be back soon. ❤️

@BobNethaway Thank you! It’s definitely an emotional roller coaster, especially when it’s your child. No matter how old, they’ll always be your baby. It’s also bittersweet when you know the sacrifice another family made so your loved one could live. I still struggle with that as a mom. ❤️♻️

No matter what is going on here on earth, today will always be a happy day for me. 3 years ago today, my daughter got a second chance at life with her heart transplant. Even in our joy, we still think of and pray for her donor and family daily
