I honestly do. not. get. it. It seems, at the least, self-defeating. There are other religions.

Drew up my plans for Simplest Bookcases Ever and will buy lumber on Tuesday. (I have weird-sized spaces to fill, so this is the easiest solution, and I've built simple furniture before). Another winter project on the to-do list.

Today, I fixed some scratched wood on doors, etc.

@c_rackman I was raised in an anti-gun household (my dad was a very moral man and being in WWII and shooting at other people had hurt him terribly, and he hated guns and war,) so I'm as befuddles as you are. If you hunt for the table, sure, I can see that. But "self-defense?" bullshit.

It's irrational, and so is the love of royalty so many Brits still have. 100% weird to us!
