Just a reminder for all those southern ‘Hooray here’s the holidays’ column inches , Scottish school holidays end next week. And while it may be in the high 20s in London ( 32next week!) this is Glasgow today. Im wearing a fleece. And not at all bitter.
UK investors withdrew £1.6 billion from stock market funds in July as fears grow over potential tax rises under Andy Burnham.
We must now urgently get on top of the welfare budget, get taxes down and see investors backing Britain again.

Can anyone in Great Britain tell me of the whereabouts of my little dog Nico?
I don’t know if someone has fallen in love with her and is harbourIng her in their home?
Or maybe someone has grabbed her and using her for some malicious purpose..?
Paris is resurfacing its lost rivers. The Bièvre was once completely covered over with concrete. Now, the river is being revealed and revitalized. We should do this much more in London! https://t.co/GE2rPiUBfY
Barely two years of Reeves/Starmer and we have an £81 billion black hole!
Remember the apoplectic outrage from Labour and the mainstream media over a £22 billion black hole? that was actually around £9.5 billion.
Where is the apoplectic mainstream media now?
Andy Burnham and his new Energy Secretary said they would be ‘pragmatic’ when it came to the North Sea.
But this morning Miatta Fahnbulleh confirmed they will BAN all new oil and gas licences.
How is it pragmatic to favour gas from Norway, the US or Qatar over gas from Britain?
Labour attacked supermarkets. They’ve hit back.
British Retail Consortium, which represents many big shops incl M&S, Sainsbury’s and Tesco, have said that Labour’s tax rises are to blame for higher prices.
Labour’s tax rises are also to blame for job losses.
The fact that the top 1% pay 30% should terrify everyone. They are not the problem, the more they are disincentivised to stay in 🇬🇧 the bigger the issue we face. We drastically need a much smaller state and serious overhaul of our welfare system.
Wind is currently generating only 15% of our electricity needs.
Solar about 2%. For reasons I’ve never been able to fathom it kinda closes down every night 🤔🤣😂
Gas is generating about a third of electricity supply.
We’re having to import another 18% from abroad.
Other than that your observation is spot on.
"7mill households can't afford a toothbrush" is the headline. They are 12.5p at Tesco.
25% of all households *can't afford* a toothbrush?
20% of all households smoke. The avg smoker smokes 3.6 packets at £13.00 a pack a week - or £196.56 a month.
The stats are nonsense.
Incredible fact.
If we could simply reduce Disability claimants to the number before lockdown we would save £24 billion a year.
Enough to fund a chunky part of social care.
Cuts to benefits are vital.
Hey @British_Airways — I sent an important email to [email protected] over 24 hours ago after you bumped me from my JFK to Heathrow flight yesterday, without even telling me. I only discovered when I tried to check in yesterday morning. Still no response to my email. So much for ‘priority’. Despite the obvious fact we clearly have different definitions of ‘priority’, do you think someone at BA might give it some attention? I’m only a humble former GL member, with gold status for life and I had paid top dollar for my first class seat, so I understand I might not count as much of a priority for the ‘new’ BA these days.
Lucy Connolly only had a few thousand followers. And isn't a party leader.
Zack Polanski has hundreds of thousands of followers. And is a party leader.
Lucy got 31 months.
Reform recently had a senior member murdered.
Given context, Polanski's offence is far, far worse.

🚨WITNESS APPEAL – TEIGNMOUTH / SHALDON BEACH 🚨
This took place earlier today (27th July) at Shaldon Beach, Teignmouth, Devon.
A member of the public reports seeing the man in the photo below pick up his dog and throw him against a stone wall multiple times. The witness states he then pinned the dog to the ground and punched him repeatedly, while the woman with him stood by and watched.
According to the witness, this happened because the dog didn’t recall immediately and the man got his jeans wet retrieving him.
If you recognise this man or the woman with him, please get in touch with the OP via the link below. .
😡 Please share — this dog needs to be protected.

The mainstream media has tried to portray the wildfires that is happening in Europe now as a result of climate change.
France just announced they have arrested 162 people in connection with starting fires.
🚨 🔥 WHAT THE FUCKING HELL .....
People bailing out of their house and leaving their animal to burn alive in the flames.
Meanwhile a French firefighter walks straight into the fire to save an innocent life.
That’s the difference between cowards and real men. Those people aren’t even worth their dog’s collar.
Total respect to our firefighters. 🔥🐶🇫🇷 Like + RT if this pisses you off as much as it does me.
The SNP runs into the Laffer Curve: its 48% top rate of income tax (NICs on top) results in £22m LESS in tax revenues.
Don’t they teach economics in the land of Adam Smith any more?
Or does left-wing virtue signalling — I’m ‘taxing the rich’ more than you — trump everything?
