Yes, the strike zone should change with age. At the younger levels (9-12), widening it makes a lot of sense. The priority should be getting kids to swing and develop their hitting, rather than parking the bat on their shoulder and waiting for a walk. It also helps young pitchers build confidence. Double-digit scores and reaching the time limit every game is no fun for anyone.

Governor Hochul, “guardrails against ICE” is just code for sanctuary policies shielding criminal illegal aliens.

Since January 2025, New York has released nearly 7,000 criminals with active ICE detainers including murderers, rapists, and violent felons straight back into our communities.

ICE isn’t “out-of-control.” It’s finally enforcing federal law. States don’t get to nullify it.

Your real guardrails protect lawbreakers, not New Yorkers. Honor ICE detainers and put citizen safety first.
