Huge blunder by Real Madrid losing out on Rodri. He literally could have solved all of their problems. I'm sorry to say but apart from Jude, real madrid's midfield is not 'it'
๐จ What happened with Rodri:
The deal was DONE, with Rodri 100% committed and almost entirely with City.
Then Juni Calafat gets involved and tells Florentino he can lower the price. Florentino listens to him and the deal stalls.
They tell Rodri they're going to try to lower the price with City, but City says NO.
City puts Rodri on the transfer market.
Rodri says he only wants to go to Madrid and Florentino says either they lower the price or there's no signing.
Rodri gets tired of waiting and Barcelona enter the scene. @Sergivalentin_
Publicly people are always humble. I mean cristiano loves messi publicly but privately he doesn't miss a chance to throw shade at him. Footballing world's 'publicly' is the falsest publicly there is. Enrique wanted him to run, he didn't want to, Enrique even benched him idk what u are talking about?
this is the most fallacious argument in the history of football. weren't the games in world cup not big games? I can actually compare the list of games of both and messi and ronaldo and prove your statement as complete bullshit. every game is a big game, and every stat, every tournament showcases Messi has always been the bigger palyer on big games.
@NENDU__@JoyBoy39 Enrique would fire a bazooka on mbappe if he even sees mbappe in paris let alone have him signed. We have all seen the videos of him elaborating to mbappe himself how he lets the team down
@NealGardner_ Fabian ruiz. good ball winner. Bernal-Pedri is good for games where opponent sits deep, and Ruiz-Pedri will be great against teams that press. and Ruiz gels really good with Olmo.
@theMadridZone@diarioas He'll be great in a setup that actually knows how to defend. He will try take ons and create chances, many times he'll lose the ball. It's only better he play for a team that knows how to win the ball back quickly. He instantly elevates Arsenal. One of the best PL signings ever.
@smokerr__@theMadridZone@jfelixdiaz Ancelotti's recent record was also pretty bad when madrid got him for his second stint. Of course Jose could still fail, but the point is not judge him from what happened at man u or roma. He will play defensive, counter attack, but there's high chance he gets the players togethr
@MadridXtra@FabrizioRomano If there is one signing that perez should break the bank for, it's him. Banger player, and he will give so much more balance to Madrid as their attack on right is dead most of the times.
