The 2025-26 Washington Capitals have been, in a word, confounding.

I feel like the number of games that went the way logic & current trends would’ve predicted can be counted on 2 hands, at most.

So I guess the #CockroachCaps still hanging around makes a strange kind of sense.

At one point, corporate told the Don & Mike Show they couldn’t play bodily sounds on the air.

In response, they made voice drops describing many such sounds.

One of them was “GREAT BIG FART!” in deep voice with reverb.

That’s been on a loop in my head for much of this game.

@rmnb Also ESPN shows endless replays no matter what. Often with full audio and from every available angle so if you look away it sounds like things have gotten even worse.
