@Eyeswideopen69 @CllrDavidTooke The bill of rights sets out the rights of Parliament to the Crown and that each has the consent of the other. The American Bill of rights also based itself of ours and Magna Carta. Our system isn't perfect but it is a good system.

France you a of state who could at some point not hold a majority in the legislator yet is more than a ceremonial HoS.

@CllrDavidTooke @Eyeswideopen69 You could not vote out an MEP you have to vote for the party. Australia, America, New Zealand and Singapore are all successful examples of systems based on FPTP. Belgium, France, Greece, Spain and Italy are examples of why PR can be so bad
