The World Cup is coming to the Camden Waterfront!
Today, the Camden County Board of Commissioners joined Visit South Jersey, NJEDA, and state and local leaders to announce SoccerFest26, a FREE three-day celebration of global soccer, culture, food, and community during the FIFA World Cup 2026.

“SoccerFest26 will bring the energy of the World Cup directly to all corners of South Jersey and most importantly to the Camden Waterfront,” said Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli Jr. “The Camden Waterfront will host a 3-day festival and draw thousands of fans into our community, giving people the chance to experience the excitement of the World Cup without traveling far or spending an extraordinary amount of money on a ticket.”

A major investment in South Jersey health care is on the horizon!

The Board of Commissioners joined @CooperHealthNJ to announce plans for a new $300 million outpatient campus in Gloucester Township, expanding access to advanced specialty care services for residents throughout the region.

The state-of-the-art facility will offer a wide range of services, including cardiology, neurology, oncology, orthopaedics, women's health, advanced imaging, cancer treatment, digestive health procedures, and outpatient surgery. The project is expected to create more than 400 health care jobs and strengthen the region's health care infrastructure.

This investment reflects the continued growth of South Jersey and a commitment to ensuring residents can access high-quality care close to home.
