Considering the negative impact of the pandemic on the brand value of the Corona and Delta corporations, I’m petitioning we rename Omicron the MyPillow variant.
@sizzle_sarah This is top shelf rage bait, and nothing more. If you think this is representative of what is happening in MN, you’re either ignorant, intentionally ignoring the facts, or a MAGA sheep.
Animated, authentic, over-the-top.

@RickEdmonds@RickEdmonds curious who your source is on MNG lagging the industry in digital subscriptions growth? Can you provide some numbers to back this up?
@AmericanAir I understand the policy is to offer no refunds, no credits, no options for customers who purchase basic economy. But not to offer anything options to customers when severe violence erupts in the country of destination is just greedy profit taking.
As a social psychologist, I understand why using women’s sports to argue against transgender rights works. But it is tough to imagine a more morally bankrupt position: “I’m going to make you sit in a gender that doesn’t fit you so my daughter can win her soccer game.”
Thrilled to announce we've won funding from @GoogleNewsInit for "The Access Project". In a world where quality local journalism is increasingly behind a paywall, The Access Project aims to ensure students and other low income groups can still get access.

Me and my brother made a quick infograph on 9/11 aka the coup in Chile, specifically for those who are unaware of US interventionism/history of imperialism etc.
@Delta are you forcing customers who need to cancel flights in April due to #coronavirus to take a #credit instead of a #refund? Hoping this is a technical error.
@jbenton@latimes The real story here is LA Times needs to sell a lot more subscriptions if they want to stay on track. The technology issues they've faced post Tronc break up is the non sexy but logical explanation for the lack of sales.
@jbenton@latimes I'm not sure 39k cancellations on a base of 150k paid subs is that far outside the norm. Keep in mind NYT and WaPo moved to heavy use of 12 month intro offers which of course will massively swing their short term retention curve.
@jbenton Surprising to see this $100/year figure used again today after @mskibinski shared the higher median from the Lenfest benchmarking report. I would argue the price/retention data available shows a clear path to higher prices.
