@KylaTienhaara Agreed. The tax carve-out/exclusion in the ECT has also been interpreted somewhat inconsistently and should not create a false sense of security in this respect.

@TaraVanHo @NadiaBernaz It also highlights the problem with sunset clauses. It has now been almost 7-years since Italy left the ECT. These treaties and their sunset clauses need to be terminated urgently.
