@HugeBillsFan@AnthonyDabbundo No, that's the problem, I'm not sure they do. All through youth sports, the perception permeates that the kid who is faster, stronger, jumps higher, is the 'better athlete'. Because that's what athlete means.
@OhioTitan@CalebNoeTV If you thought winning the World Cup was a realistic goal for THIS USMNT THIS World Cup, that is a YOU problem. Would beating Belgium have been amazing? Yes.
Sadly, right after they scored, they had a terrible defensive lapse. Ream and Dest, letting the team down terribly.
@Spartan4040_01@KVanValkenburg At 19 Erling Haaland was playing for Norway's 10th best team... Is that the 'very early' identification you are talking about?
@KVanValkenburg As someone who has volunteered coaching, I gave a LOT of my time (almost a decade) to helping kids enjoy and improve at soccer. At some point I needed something back, and that point never came.
I do agree that the fees are absurd, obv.
@SavianoAlan@KVanValkenburg I think that might be the problem. We are looking at who is the best athlete at FIVE? And committing all our resources to them? LOL
