I had an accident last weekend which resulted in a head injury. I'm OK, mostly just a little concussed with a bruised ego, but have been fascinated at how quickly my injuries have healed. My clever little white blood cells!!

In my nurse-led SCT clinic today a patient said to me ‘Emma I’ve survived by why don’t I feel like I’m living’ - that hit me… the adjustment to life at the end of treatment, recovery and finding a ‘new normal’ is so tough. We must do more, with services stretched it is not easy.

@HMRCcustomers Hi. How do I know if I've backdated the WFH tax relief? I completed the online form yesterday, said I'd been WFH due to COVID since 6 April 2020, and my tax code has changed today, but unsure if that automatically backdates and I'll receive a cheque or similar?
