Quebec has consistently lower rents than other Canadian cities. The landlords show that increases in rent are warranted by improvements/maintenance investments. Increases in demand for rentals are not a just reason to charge more.

@eastrenhealthNL Being solid on the basics is essential to keeping the ship afloat. Every department esp HR needs to be on the ball in this healthcare worker shortage. The current NP graduating class does not have jobs lined up and may leave. `https://t.co/mHnNEihkSd
@FureyAndrew You have a class of NPs graduating in 1 month whose applications for work in NL, have been filtered out by HR due to lack of experience or who knows what, and are being recruited more successfully by BC. Heads up!

Transparency with consumers is excellent. It increases the ability of consumers to make informed decisions, especially regarding allergens. More folks than we think struggle with environmental irritants issues and allergies.

We should keep in mind which governments implement changes that address the social determinants of health and let them reap compliments for years for their efforts. For example, NDP initiated, Liberal implemented Medicare.

Dinn isn’t sure if the government has the stomach to address the social determinants of health, “because they’re not as glamorous as the announcement of a new St. Clare’s or the new cardiac care centre.”

@Gov_NB Reducing desperation and providing hopeful means of prospering, including if struggling within the grips of addiction, is how to reduce crime (theft in particular). If we were desperate enough, we would all steal. Very predictable train of events.
I attended the Food Producers Forum presentation on where food is grown in NL, outside of commercial agriculture. A group to watch! They will help pave the way (esp regarding municipal regulation) to facilitate more home growing.

Hearing about patients paying for Maple e-health services across Canada? Proud of @gov_NB for coving these services since the omicron wave for NB Medicare card holders.

Yeah! Full wages while attending LPN training for one stream of individuals (previous PSWs). Good first move. Up front generosity PAYS dividends. Don't be shy, too hesitant for PSW workforce, to fill those gaps.

@meta201012@canadanurses Sickening to see us poach from countries so aggressively when we have always had the ability to forecast our workforce appropriately, but failed to do so. Treat this as an 'incident' to learn from. #NBnurses@Gov_NB#Med6288 @NANB_AIINB @NBNU_SIINB
