T2b. Tenacity. #WhyWeDoResearch At induction I said I didn’t like telling people I was doing a PhD because I didn’t feel smart enough. I was told you need intelligence but stubbornness and tenacity was more important
@ian_simcock "Talk to people who are at similar stages" so true! I'm constantly reassured by people in my PhD cohort that are at the same stage as me, and those who've been at the same stage as me. @GCUTeach (Dr Maureen McPake) was full of good advice about working when suits #WhyWeDoResearch
