Not all heroes wear capes. Thank you for being our constant guide, protector, and biggest cheerleader in life Happy Father's Day, Dad ❤️ Some of our earliest memories are of ...."
Happy Father's Day in Heaven, Dad. Not a day goes by that we don't think of you and smile at the beautiful memories we shared. 😭 🙏🏿 🥃 I will always miss you. 😢 MYSCRIEP. I miss those late night calls and early morning calls with no reason but just to check on us and make jokes and today I know you are making that Happy father’s call from Heaven as usual. The last phone call I received from U on 13th June 2025 asking me to come back, making jokes as usual & neither did I know it was your last call to say bye and you slept never woke up on 14th June 2025. That call will always ring a bell in my ears until death.
He said a Father’s legacy should be beyond material wealth as inheritance but rather Acknowledging dedication & sacrifice & recognising values of courage & resilience u instil in your children. Emphasise deep faith & importance of character which will shape how u view the World. I always reflect on his teachings about integrity & reputation that have influenced the man I am and the way to raise children. Happy 1 yr Heavenly Father’s Day. The name you left has always paid off as you said because of ur character. Yesterday we met Head of Research institute Ug with Teddy and once he saw your picture all he said, “He was a soldier of great character & we used to drink with him at a Thinner club kololo & trained me in Kabamba.
@mkainerugaba Afande they are many in state house, President’s directives are not being implemented either intentionally or the money has been “eaten” a good example is that of my father.
@sholard_mancity Let the South Africans also blame the other Africans for their loss. Since it’s the foreigners who played for them the game. Don’t use lack of support for your failures. Good teams win with or without support.
We all have different paths we take in life it’s called destiny. We have our plans but God knows better. All we do is play our parts in the various roles in life. I believe he never been interested in politics. Glad you know the story then means you know his character. That’s why he never came out to the press as well. A man who joined the army in 1963 and retired 2018 surely what can I say only God & the seniors who served with him know him better & can Judge him. 🙏🏿
Served all Gov’t with excellency no exile. Joined the army in 1963 with the likes of Gen Moses Ali, Gen Ada e.t.c UG Army 806 Refused to be President in 1985 rank Col and formed the military council that Negotiated peace with NRA. Became the first NRA Mbuya Commandant in 1986 given NRA RA1405 later UPDF RO1405 & served various roles in UPDF and Rtd in 2018 officially. Great history.
1- Are your parents still alive? If yes ask them what sacrifice means when they were looking after the young you; If not MTSRIEP.
2- Do you have any close family members or relatives in the army? Have they been to war before?
3- Do you have children?
4- Are you married?
If you answered yes to all; use your sixth sense you will get the real meaning of sacrifice in real life time. With due respect if you can ask what a veteran who signed for death to join the army sacrificed!
He told me the best soldiers win wars by not firing a single bullet. Cowards live longer. He brought some sanity in the region by commanding the first most successful disarmament exercise(yr 2000) leading the peace talks between KARAMOJONGS,other parts of Uganda & those in neighbouring countries. Karamojja is steadily rising my brother. It’s our duty. Our elders played their part.
This discussion is good for the nation. slowly but surely the truth will come out. The public should scrutinise all the 82 not only the 4. Does HE do due diligence through his intelligence, legal aides, security, their previous employers, religious institutions, the public at large before appointing. Vetting Isn’t only academic qualification, experience or political affiliation msitaken for patriotism in UG, but it has a lot to do with character as well; If decayed morally or having a criminal antecedent then No. We need to review the vetting process, but I have no problem with amending the law so that dual citizens who qualify can bring back that expertise home. They are many still at large but because the camera is only focusing on the 4 known!
@Karungisera2 Reminds me of the Late Agrey Awori at the time; one being Vice President in kenya and one being Minister in Uganda, but brothers. So why the fuse!
Not your typical soldier. Not only did he serve the army but served Uganda from 1963;Uganda army number 806 and joined NRA/UPDF Army number RO1405 and retired In 2018 with merit. Served all Governments on merit without going to exile. First Karamojong army pilot.Record set. That’s a true Hero. 🫡 Afande Loumo. MAGRIP.
Because these are brokers, some are hustlers commonly referred to as; “magendo” people in the play man’s language. However the real source is in the banks and mind you some of their employers or the real owners are bankers and in any case when the bank is robbed and security is compromised then there is an insider most likely. Thieves don’t steal thieves!
Keep the fire burning Hon Nameere. I nominate you as the EFF of NRM. Since you are the stock mpya 001 and came out of that temporary arrest with shoulders high: when NRM says 1+1=2 Go with it and if NRM says equals 3 oppose for the good of Ugandans; Likewise if the Opposition says 1+1=2 Go with it and if they say the contrary oppose it too. We want to see a parliament that works for the people not parties. All we want is service delivery and you the selected few being ears of the President on ground: We are all Ugandans regardless. Congratulations once again for going through the vetting as Minister of state Local Gov’t. Alutua continua.
It was rare 15–20 years ago to see people in their 60s/70s engaging in slanging matches publicly. But X has changed all that. These days presidents, ministers, heads of UN agencies, diplomats, CEOs trade 𝒌𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒚𝒐𝒌𝒐 insults just like teenagers.
I just thank people for sharing their thoughts whenever they insult me. And nobody carries on once I thank them. It has worked for me.
