Here's this week's colourful harvest from the Walled Garden ready to be delivered to local community organisations. The produce is used in a variety of ways, from stocking a community food bank to making nutritious meals for the community.
It's #WorldPhotoDay, and we'd like to share these photos taken by our Parks & Gardens Team. The Walled Garden is a patchwork of colour at the moment, with fruits, vegetables and flowers - and there are even melons growing in the greenhouses!
Over the next three weeks, we're working in partnership with @AngelTrust2 to surprise members of our local community with freshly cut flowers from the Castle's Walled Garden. You can nominate someone special over on Angel Trust's Facebook page. 📷 courtesy of The Angel Trust

We can’t wait to welcome you again – but we need to make sure that you, our staff and volunteers can be as safe as possible. Our venues won't be reopening for now, but we look forward to sharing our plans as we move forward.

Built about 1760, Auckland Castle Deer House provided a feeding place and shelter for the deer in County Durham. 🦌
🏡 It also had rooms in which the bishop and his guests could picnic, enjoy the views and take a rest from hunting.
We will be celebrating the longest day, Midsummer’s Day, by opening our Park and Gardens to visitors in the evening on Saturday 20th June. The Park and Gardens will be open from 6pm until 10.30pm. Book online: https://t.co/Q6E2QAVJNA
