Step on your mat and stand in Tadasana. Make your feet parallel, ask your thighs to roll inward, slightly lift your breastbone, while slightly dropping your chin. Like a mountain, root your feet into the earth, but let your heart soar to the heavens. Take this into your life
End your asana practice today with a twenty-minute Savasana (Basic Relaxation Pose), followed by a few minutes in reflection. The effects will change you and contribute to the peace of the world.
If you were to walk to your door & stress wanted to enter, would you let it in? If anger was pounding on your door, would you open it? If ease was at your door & asked to come in, would you open your door to it? Your heart & mind are that door. You choose what you allow in.
Today on your yoga mat, choose to practice a strong twisting pose. As you do, visualize that the pose is untwisting the knots that bind you, so you can experience with freshness that which is truly important.
Not everyone acts as we would wish. This obvious fact can interfere with our ability to love them. Today observe those you love and see their faults as what makes them the very person you love. I love you in spite of yourself; I love myself in spite of myself.

Being truly alive to our sensations is to be truly alive to life. Sit in a quiet place and take a bite of your favorite chocolate. Hold it on your tongue; let it melt slightly. Taste it fully. Enjoy the smell. Cultivate this practice today.
