My daughter came home yesterday, her voice trembling as she told me of a girl she knows who had been taken to Saudi Arabia. I have defended this woman for far too long.

I sighed in silence when she refused to stand up for Erika against Candace Owens’ vicious attacks. I wrote a long, heartfelt piece defending her right to choose her own friends without the mob demanding her loyalty or her words. I sent her messages of genuine encouragement when the world was ready to cast her aside.

I bit my tongue when my own twin turned against her, and she was right to do so. I ground my teeth through her endless flip-flopping on Trump and said nothing.

Time after time, I gave this foolish, grifting woman the benefit of the doubt. But as my grandfather used to say, with the hard-earned wisdom of a life well-lived: “Tell me who you associate with, and I’ll tell you who you are.”

Megyn’s chosen circle now includes Glenn Greenwald, Tucker Carlson, and Candace Owens, three of the most morally bankrupt voices of our age.

Israel and the Jewish people are not perfect. No nation, no people, ever is. But they do not torture women and children. They do not mutilate the innocent or unleash terror across the globe. They do not stone people for the crime of love or execute them for daring to be who they were born to be.

Today, the veil has fallen.
