Trump ‘admin’ ups the ante in its war against women in a move to allow married couples with a stay-at-home spouse to collect child care subsidies. This is a top-priority policy of VP JD Vance, and uses funds from a federal program intended to assist working parents.

To do this, republicans are seeking to use the Health & Human Services Dept fund created in the 1990s to help low-income and working-class parents afford child care so they could work or go to school.

More than 80% of the 870,000 families who currently get the subsidies are single working parents—most of them Mothers who would no longer qualify!

Note: This idea of paying parents to stay home was outlined in Project 2025–you know, the project Trump said he didn’t know anything about!
