@ThatEricAlper We had Tupperware set looked like oversized ice cube tray. Each cube ~2”x 1”x 3” for home-made popsicles. Fill each cube w/ this “ fruit cocktail” & add orange juice. Had a single lid covering all 8 cubes w/ slit above each cube to add wooden stick. 2 hrs in freezer=summer magic!

@KlingonEmperor @crockpics Long ago. I most enjoyed Patti LaBelle & Blue Belles; partly due to venue. Denver’s coliseum (just a big quonset hut) couldn’t take Stones’ music. All night I worried about getting pushed down, but when Patti started singing I could only focus on her stage presence & that voice!

@xmuse_ One of my favorites, because of the hands he creates. The hands always capture my focus. This all began when I first saw Rodin’s Orpheus & Eurydice, not that their hands are so technically accurate, but because of their story as Orpheus’ hand covers his eyes to shield his gaze.

@ThatEricAlper My second concert - Patti LaBelle and the Bluebelles, November 1965, Denver coliseum. She made me first realize that the singing human voice was a musical instrument. She captured this 2nd grader’s heart and I’ve been completely mesmerized by her ever since.
