The farthest they'd go was making someone a little brown and that was it OR doing a very racist caricature. That's why it's hard for people to know a character is Indian, Hispanic, black, etc or just has a tan
Everyone said I'd be ashamed or embarrassed by this moment in my life but I was so happy making this, it's truly an irreplaceable joy that this character created for me
@ronpishmimimi I have a loser character, I gave him as many socially awkward traits as possible. Stuters, finger guns, dad jokes, stands too close, sweats often and smiles too wide at odd moments
I teach character design and story telling to all ages and the biggest hurdle is getting teen students that react badly to critique because their "character" is just them
