A big thank you to everyone that tuned in yesterday to watch my documentary exploring #BlackBritishstudents in Higher Education with @bbciowm! Also a massive thank you the BBC production team for the opportunity and platform #Grateful@stormzy how about I interview you for real?
The language used to describe an issue is telling. Initially, the difference in grades between Black and white students was called the 'attainment gap', but now is called the 'Awarding gap' because these students are not being awarded the grades and degrees they have worked for.
'Is higher education failing Black British Students? ' Is not na objective story, it's a personal one. The final year of Physiology and Pharmacology degree nearly finished me. It's time to tell my story <3
