@meninofera@Eric60197007@0xSifu@Wonderland_fi It doesn't really make a difference whether you have it in MEMO or wMEMO, however when you choose to sell it, it is worth looking at the prices of both of those tokens and their liquidity so that you can increase your chances of making a profit.
@SteveTWilliams9 @0xSifu@Wonderland_fi Snowbank has a similar approach and issued buybacks, spending in the millions before deciding to discontinue buybacks. They came up with an alternative, people could swap the SB tokens in exchange for a stablecoin at the backing price - better approach.
@SteveTWilliams9 @0xSifu@Wonderland_fi It is not in investorsโ best interest for Time Wonderland to never allow the price to go below backing. If there is a lot of selling pressure, all the treasury reserves could be used to to buy back Time, this could make the price sink to new lows.
@Eric60197007@0xSifu@Wonderland_fi So not only will you be benefiting from Time's growing treasury but you will also be benefiting from Time's market price being at a large premium to its backing price. Now at the time of writing you are paying about a 1.0662 X premium for the price at which Time is backed. ๐
@Eric60197007@0xSifu@Wonderland_fi The idea is now a lot of faith is lost in the Time project and selling pressure far outweighed buying pressure for some time, but as faith is gained again in the protocol the gap between the market price and backing price of Time will increase -
@Eric60197007@0xSifu@Wonderland_fi No you are still minting new Time. The APY is still high, 81,867.1% at the time of writing. The token supply is increasing and being distributed as rewards to stakers. The bonding being shut means that that will no longer be a revenue stream for their treasury.
@MikeRafalski@Wonderland_fi I would argue that Time's market price is approaching its backing price more closely than OHM because of a lot of negative sentiment and fear. Many people buy crypto and HODL for short periods, the price crashing make them fearful and they are inclined to sell at a loss.
@MikeRafalski@Wonderland_fi For a long time OHM boasted that the market price was in between 4 and 8 X of its backing price. As of today Time's price is at 1.17 of its backing price and OHM is at 1.39 X of its backing price
@jerome_1202@jonray Not true, I actually made a 60% profit. I didnโt follow their advice. And exited the investment because I made a profit and lost faith in the team.
@Shasixz @Leonardo_ENLTND @0xSmartCoin@JadeProtocol To be fair I made about 60% profit from investing in smarter coin. I can tell you how I did it. I didnโt follow their advice. But I used it to my own advantage. I think they got a lot of things wrong, but in some respects I am grateful to them for the opportunity.
@102938465Yes @MulChainCapital@oklgio@themoontography Users who purchase MCC before the launch of version 3 tomorrow off of the market will also be able to swap their tokens for ETH, at a higher rate. So I reckon the earlier you bought into the project the more MCC version 3 tokens you will receive. & the launch is tomorrow!
@102938465Yes @MulChainCapital@oklgio@themoontography I think what this means is that if you bought the MCC crypto at the earliest time possible (version 1) you will be able to claim the same amount of the new MCC tokens. However if you participated in the airdrop for MCC (version 2) you would be able switch it for ETH.
