@Kojo_AN @IvyfulWorld An actually good story. A well handled cast of characters. Rich amounts of lore. Tons of exploration. Actual postgame areas and activities. Direct sequels that further expanded on the original games without making them irrelevant. Oh and games that actually feel complete.

@Necrotine1 @AspirinJuice425 @IvyfulWorld Sure X/Y did a lot for the competitive and online side of things. Though some things weren't as peachy rosy as you try to make it appear. Outside of the competitive and online aspects however, X/Y are severely undercooked.
