#WhoswhoAtFAMUTS Greetings, I am Jaciah Lumpkin a 4th year Sociology Major hailing from the Beautiful city of Orlando, FL. I transferred to FAMU fall 2019 and I love it here ever since. FAMU has always been my dream school and also gave me a chance to meet new friends and sisters
Please raise your daughters to have hobbies, interests, and academics...so when they become adults and middle-aged women they have something to talk about besides a man.
when someone tries to tell me abt wattpad, but i was on it before there was a premium option, it had no ads, authors posted new chapters at 3am, the comment section was easily pushing 100+ under an hr, mafia troupes were taking over rankings, & 1D was buying me every other story
7 things i’d like to experience atleast once:
a surprise birthday party
"it's you, it's always been you." drunk confession
running into someones arms
01:48 of champagne coast
being in someones wallet
kiss in the rain
One of the hardest adult lessons is that you still have to show up, no matter what you're carrying. Do it sad. Do it grieving. Do it exhausted. Life doesn't pause to spare you, it keeps moving, so you keep moving too.
james baldwin was so right when he said you think you’re alone and then you pick up a book and realise someone else has felt the same way as you and managed to find a language for it. the realest shit
if you’re employed & haven’t had to apply for jobs in the last year or so, keep your opinions about applying to jobs to yourself. you don’t understand the mental toll it’s taking on people, especially those that are unemployed.
