@jamusp I usually buy generic toner cartridges for it.
I usually get 2 toner cartridges at a time for around $20 bucks. Use about 1 toner cartridge a year, print around 10 pages a day.

Brother HL-L2340DW Compact Monochrome Laser Printer.
Never had any problems whatsoever.
It is a well made machine.
