I’m always amazed by people who claim they “lost their property” simply because they left South Africa, as if a title deed expires the moment you board a flight.
South Africa has plenty of absentee landlords who own property here while living in Germany, the UK, Australia, or elsewhere. So why do some people suddenly pretend property rights disappear only when African immigrants leave?
Whether you are in Nigeria, Ghana, or anywhere else, if the property is legally yours and you have the paperwork, then it remains yours. That is the basic question people should be asking.

@Mathibs7@KingKarakum@Judaeda3 Also, infrastructure built during apartheid was meant to service whites only. after 1994 the ANC had to ensure to expand electricity and water infrastructure to all its citizens including in townships and rural areas. Health care is free and there are free public schools.
