Tigers go on the road and get the sweep 🧹 over Kings! Callum McGill throws another gem giving up only 1 hit and striking out 13. He had a perfect game through 6 & 2/3! Go Tigers! 🐅
Taking another page out of @VernonGriffith4’s book and targeting the hips. The big guys in the trenches need to be strong and powerful, mobile hips are necessary.
My advice to HS recruits:
1. Be eligible..no coach runs from good grades
2. Seriously consider the school that shows they want you the most
3. Dont let level guide you
4. Ask questions..lots!
5. Don’t be afraid to initiate contact
6. Focus on what you can control
7. Show gratitude
A 17-year-old, 200-pound high school fullback will need 4,000-5,000 calories per day to account for basic growth and maturation needs along with supporting training & recovery.
Youth athletes NEED more kcal than non-active kids and adults. I discuss this in my Friday newsletter.
