You don't need to have your entire life figured out.
Start with three questions:
What am I good at?
What problems can I solve?
What kind of man do I want to become?
Your answers won't give you a perfect map.
But they can give you a direction.
And direction changes everything.
A man without direction can spend years moving without actually going anywhere.
More money.
More women.
More parties.
More followers.
More possessions.
But still no peace.
At some point you have to ask:
"What am I actually building?"
Your life needs direction, not just activity.
This is a simple character test:
How do you treat people who can't give you anything?
The waiter.
The cleaner.
The junior employee.
The stranger.
The person who disagrees with you.
The person who has nothing to offer you.
Character reveals itself when there is nothing to gain.
You cannot demand genuine respect.
You can only become the kind of person people have reasons to respect.
Keep your word.
Be competent.
Be honest.
Control yourself.
Treat people well.
Stand for something.
Take responsibility.
Respect is rarely built through one grand gesture.
It's built through repeated behaviour.
I decided to honor my leader today.
Man held my hand, went round the office to announce.
I wanted to disappear.
But, make it a part of your life, to honor your leaders, parents, mentors.
It's a good thing to do.
Have a great week ahead.
