Don Lemon: “If Barack Obama had sued his own government, settled with himself in secret, created a billion dollar fund with no congressional oversight to pay his political allies. What if he did that? They would’ve had him in chains before sundown. The National Guard would have been called in. Impeachment articles would have been filed. Can you imagine Fox News?”
So if you or I cheat on our taxes, we could spend time behind bars.
But if Trump... or his kids... or his businesses cheat on their taxes, the law doesn't apply.
This is insane & beyond corrupt.
DOJ works for the American people, NOT Donald Trump.
If you honestly believe that any of the violent 1,600 rioters that stormed the Capitol and beat cops with flagpoles and fire extinguishers on January 6th deserves ONE CENT of our hard-earned tax dollars, you are a DISGRACE and an asshole.
@toniotheone@dulcebombomcito Gorgeous, smart, educated, from prestigious colleges…not an Epstein Visa. Married to a gorgeous, smart, faithful and beloved former President. Oh, and when she speaks, you can actually understand what she is saying! A beautiful FLOTUS to be proud of!
This evening, I was honored to accept the NAACP’s Chairman’s Award.
I grew up inspired by the work of the NAACP — by all those who took up the fight for justice, equality, and opportunity. Their example is part of the reason I chose a life of public service.
At this moment, people around our nation see the flames on our horizons, the rising waters in our cities, the shadows gathering over our democracy, and ask, “What do we do now?”
We know exactly what to do. Like those who forged the NAACP and those who carried its legacy forward, we use our power. We organize, mobilize, educate, and advocate.
Not because it’s easy, but because it’s necessary. Because the fight is worth it.
This chapter in our American story will be written not by whoever occupies the Oval Office, nor by the wealthiest among us.
The American story will be written by we, the people.
I have recently received many messages of affection, and I have been particularly struck by the letters and drawings from children. Thank you for your closeness, and for the consoling prayers I have received from all over the world!
.@ElonMusk I hate to break it to you but you aren’t my boss. I answer to the people of Minnesota.
But since you bring it up, I spent last week fighting to stop tax breaks for billionaires like you, paid for by defunding health care for moms and babies.
BREAKING: Rock and roll legend Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones enrages MAGA world by hilariously trolling Donald Trump during a massive concert in New Jersey.
This is exactly the kind of thing that gets right under Trump's skin...
"I thought we were gonna get a bit of a Stormy Daniels but we’re alright," Jagger said of the weather, causing the crowd to roar with laughter.
Daniels is currently a sore sport for Trump because her testimony could end up sending him to prison in the hush money trial in New York.
During another point in the performance, Jagger performed a fan-voted song and said: "There’s a much bigger vote happening in November."
He also noted Trump's "trials and tribulations," a likely reference to his mounting legal and financial problems.
To add insult to injury, the Rolling Stones performed for more than 80,000 people at the concert. Meanwhile, Trump's campaign rally in the Bronx struggled to pull in 3,500 people (Trump lied and claimed 25,000).
The best part of all of this is that Trump is absolutely obsessed with celebrities. He wants to be liked and welcomed in by them but most of them absolutely despise him.

BREAKING: A billionaire Donald Trump donor humiliates himself on the world stage as he realizes far too late that the movie he funded is actually anti-Trump — and then tries to scuttle it.
This is just too funny…
Dan Snyder, the former owner of the NFL team once known as the Washington Redskins, helped finance “The Apprentice,” a movie about Trump starring Sebastian Stan and Jeremy Strong.
Apparently, Snyder mistakenly believed that he was funding a pro-Trump propaganda film.
Instead the movie — which is debuting at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival — depicts Trump as the monster he is. An early draft of the screenplay showed Trump raping his wife Ivana and the final film depicts him in a “violent” fight with her.
An insider told Variety that Snyder is furious about the film and has his lawyers working to block its release with desperate cease-and-desist letters and might skip the premiere.
Unfortunately for Snyder (and Trump), they have no control over the movie at this point. It will be released as planned.
Please retweet and ❤️ if you can’t wait to see the movie — and consider joining the growing exodus to Tribel, a new pro-democracy social network that is exploding in popularity because Twitter and Facebook are trying to stop its growth — which is only making Tribel grow even faster. Former Trump WH aide Cassidy Hutchinson on Donald Trump:
"I do firmly believe that Donald Trump is an authoritarian leader. I think he values authoritarian rule over our rule of law. And I think that if he is elected as the next president of the United States, we are one step closer to operating under a dictatorship...The trajectory and the fabric of our nation will forever be changed if it happens again."
Never Trump.
