@RMos088 I think that online quiz games can be great practice and formative learning assessments. I have never used one as a summative assessment, though!
@AlhassaMansaray I've had a lot of success with Twitter chats, and students creating TikToks or IG Reels to discuss problems and content. I really enjoyed the video assignments, and have gotten some amazing submissions from students. The student engagement was amazing!

As educators, we need to look to the future to prepare our students for their future. So what tech skills do you think they will need?
@TeachingTechDE I really love using Google Classroom. It is universally compatible with all devices, and is easy for educators and for students alike. #wuedt6020
@TeachingTechDE I LOVED using podcasts when I was an English teacher! I had a lesson using a True Crime podcast for older students, and had a unit where they would create their own podcast. They loved it! And it hit so many standards! #wuedt6020
@missdill23@Kenneth79987270 I completely agree! I self taught how to code, and really wish I had been taught more in school. Coding teaches so many skills that benefit all areas of life! #wuedt6020
@TeachingTechDE#wuedt6020 Tech should be used whenever it is beneficial to instruction at any level! Also, I believe that coding should be taught throughout K-12. Here's a great article that shows some benefits & methods in teaching Kindergarteners coding concepts! https://t.co/VYqHQgabBL
@missdill23 @RMos088 @McCoolWILMu Google Drive is really a go to spot for collaboration. I didn't mention Notion in my original post, but I really love that for collaboration as well!
@McCoolWILMu I really love Padlet as an interactive collaboration space. I used it as a coach with staff to facilitate conversations surrounding various topics, and it gave us a space to pin ideas for later discussions as well. It's a great tool! https://t.co/N9rVG2qidi #wuedt6020
@missdill23@Harkin17Jessica@McCoolWILMu I love using GooseChase! I've used it with adult learners as an ed tech coach. It's really an excellent platform for hosting scavenger hunts, if you can convince your district to purchase it. I find the free version to be a little limited.
@miketenutowilmu@piktochart Thank you! 😁 Happy you found it useful! I’m going to keep researching this area and will update my Canvas course with resources I find and build! Stay tuned!! #wuedt6020
Nano Learning is a form of Microlearning and the benefits are GREAT! Here are the basics:

@HarroldManskEDT@EdTechLaura So glad you found the Microlearning steps useful! There is so much good it can do, and we've all been consuming knowledge that way for a long time now! #WUEDT6020
@mfranchetti9711@EdTechLaura I love this idea! If you find the video again, could you link it? I'd love to see how he used them within the classroom. #wuedt6020
@EdTechLaura I definitely want to use more Microlearning strategies in my trainings. I find them to be so effective for so many reasons! I also really love gamifying learning. And SEL is SO important!
I'm currently researching Nano-Learning! This emerging educational technology trend uses bite-sized content to help learners absorb and retain information. #learnwithme#WUEDT6020
