"Of that I'm not sure. Perhaps that's why I've chosen isolation for a time. Perhaps I serve no purpose at all, and must learn to simply exist. I want to learn all I can before this world is consumed by the inevitability that falls over all planes."
A small sip and an even --
The merchant stilled himself, her last remark seemingly holding a weight of importance.
"Revision yourself..." He repeated, quietly. "What exactly do you have in mind for your new life, my Queen? It's quite the impressive task to go through alone."
She accepted the cup with a little nod, observing the warm liquid for a moment as he spoke.
"Mm. Precisely, petite grenouille. The monsieur has found his purpose in purification, but I desire to break our cycle of conflict this time."
"But to do that I must revision myself."
She trusts his judgement with these sorts of things. That sounds delightful.
"I've been reflecting on my position in this new world. Accepting you no longer control the very flow of existence is a difficult task, but I believe I've made progress."
Self reflection and isolation. The Queen finds herself in a forlorn atmosphere all by herself, hm. Peppermint tea will suffice for this conversation.

"If that is how I'm perceived, there is nothing to be done about it. It is for their own safety rather than my own."
A hint of sadness carried in her tone, but it wasn't as if she expected this result from the very start. She had no place among man.
"I've attempted to appear--
"The place you picked out is nice. Most people don't wander in to the mountain's forest since they tend to get lost."
Carefully, the sharp end of the blafe is glided against the dead animal's scales. "If you're not careful, rumors could spread about a scary lady in the forest."
Her head tilted slightly, almost appearing impressed at Max's strength. Almost. It was a bit hard to tell.
"I've found solace in wandering about and learning what I can about this world. But others don't display the same kindness you have, so I've retreated to avoid a ruckus."
Oh, ah, right. She nearly forgot about their habits of eating all their meat raw.
Their digestive systems must be really different ..
Max nods at Eloha, taking the large fish up in her arms to go cut away at.
".. You've been doing okay on your own?"
