This is exactly why the Chinese will continue to deeply appreciate and loudly sing the praises of Mao Zedong. Despite the bloody shortcomings of the Cultural Revolution, he successfully succeeded in the absolute removal of feudal, superstitious and backward cultures from China.
Any culture, tradition, or religion that strictly commands you to see and regard places, objects, people, mythical deities, ancient shrines, or untouchable monarchs as "divine" or worthy of blind worship cannot survive against modern Imperialism. Hence, it must be ruthlessly dismantled, uprooted, and destroyed to build a much more resilient society that foreign powers and local political actors cannot easily hijack to destabilize the state.
This brutal reality is especially true for Nigeria. In the holy name of religion, young boys and men in Northern Nigeria are actively recruited to engage in the wanton destruction of their own communities, public schools, local hospitals, and agricultural farmlands. They engage in this bloody terrorism with a twisted sense of duty, divine privilege, and spiritual arrogance because their foreign-funded Wahhabi-Salafi Islamic scholars have systematically conditioned them to believe that this senseless violence is a noble cause to fight a sinful society, purge Western education, and establish a utopian Islamic caliphate. Of course, there is absolutely no Islamic caliphate to be established, no divine kingdom to be built, and no spiritual reward waiting for them. Everything is purely, violently orchestrated for the unchecked extraction of gold, lithium, uranium, and other mineral wealth buried deep in their communities. But the brainwashed foot soldiers do not recognize this massive corporate theft because their radicalized religion has completely shut down the specific logical regions in their brains that should have naturally assisted them in critical thinking, basic survival, and rational decision-making.
We also witness this exact same tragedy unfold in the Eastern region, where opportunistic local warlords, diaspora agitators, and political profiteers recruit the local population to engage in the wanton destruction of their own state, local businesses and public infrastructure in the name of establishing "Biafra." Here, the primary node of psychological deception is ethnic chauvinism and cultural pride rather than religion. The young boys and unemployed men are aggressively convinced that the Nigerian state is the sole enemy of their tribe, that their identity is tied first and foremost to this secessionist movement, and that this bloody agitation constitutes the ultimate survival of the Igbo race. Now, even though this manufactured fight is primarily a proxy war for the control of crude oil, natural gas, and rare earth minerals buried deep in the seabed and under thick forest canopies in the region, and even though these warlords receive direct covert funding, weapons, and diplomatic cover from foreign governments to engage in this destruction of their own state, the gullible people being recruited do not even bother to conduct basic research. Their blind affinity for their tribe, their emotional attachment to the past, and their toxic cultural pride are so overwhelmingly strong that it completely blocks all forms of logic and reason.
The exact same material analysis holds true for the heavily exploited Niger Delta region as well as the South West region. We have already begun to see dangerous pockets of terrorism and armed thuggery in Osun state, Lagos suburbs, and border towns, alongside a highly suspicious new wave of the Oduduwa Republic movement propping up. Toxic religion and arrogant cultural pride have been carefully, systematically, and deliberately injected into every single community, ward, and local government in Nigeria. The parasitic political class ruthlessly invokes these divisions to their absolute advantage, depending entirely on which specific bias serves their selfish interests with regards to the political climate of that election cycle.
If they desperately need to win votes from their own ethnic base, they immediately engage in loud tribal jingoism, ethnic baiting, and regional fear-mongering. They expertly convince the impoverished masses that a vote for the politician is a sacred vote for the "tribe," and thus the people are easily seduced into thinking the election is a literal battle for the survival, dominance, and glory of their ethnic group. Hence, they foolishly celebrate the electoral victory of a corrupt billionaire politician as a collective win for the tribe, even though there is absolutely zero material evidence, historical precedent, or economic data to support this delusional line of thinking. The brainwashed people predictably end up having no stable electricity, no paved road networks, no clean drinking water, no functional public schools, and absolutely terrible healthcare, while the victorious politicians continue to loot the treasury dry, buy luxury real estate abroad, and fly their entire families to London, Dubai, or Paris for basic medical checkups.
This is not to say that the people do not recognize this scam. They know from bitter, repeated experience that their wealthy tribesmen never actually return to develop the tribe, build local factories, or empower the youth when they win these elections. But the deep-seated cultural and religious programming is so incredibly strong, intoxicating, and blinding that it continuously overwrites, deletes, and completely neutralizes any painful experience, logical deduction, or harsh economic lessons the people might have learned during the miserable four-year period between every election. Like clockwork, they predictably return to the streets to dance around cultural pride, tribal bigotry, and religious sentiments during every single new election cycle.
This psychological vulnerability is precisely one of the core reasons Mao Zedong ruthlessly launched a Cultural Revolution in China: to permanently prevent the minds of the working class from being easily hijacked, manipulated, and weaponized by the domestic political class, wealthy landlords, and foreign imperial interests to work against the survival of their own state. India never had the courage to execute such a radical cultural purge, and today, their massive population continues to be violently divided along the rigid lines of caste, religion, language, and regionalism, which further sets them up for endless political manipulation and corporate exploitation.
For Nigeria to ever truly work, industrialize, and achieve absolute sovereignty, these parasitic feudal systems, tribal loyalties, and deeply ingrained elements of subservience in our traditional cultures must be systematically dismantled in their entirety, uprooted from our psychology, and burned completely to the ground. Only within those purified ashes can we finally erect a brand-new, scientifically grounded philosophical system that is completely resilient to Imperialism, forging a powerful, unbreakable new national identity to permanently unite the entire working class of Nigeria.

To those of you aspiring to go abroad... nobody will give you this advice, but since I am a good person, I will.
Scotch bonnet and Habanero peppers pass Nigerian ata rodo. They are levels above “rodo”, when it comes to peppers.. In fact, the evil spirit will be doing you like pe you should blend like 10. Hmm, don't put head.
When I first entered Obodo oyinbo in 2015, I went into the store to buy some stuff to cook rice and stew for men before they returned from work. I walked past this habanero pepper:
“Ha ha, this is Rodo nau”
Na so I pack like 15. Haaa today na today, seh! Finished my grocery shopping and went home. Na so I enter kitchen begin cook make I fry pepper and rice. You know those peppers that usually enter with rice. Ehn o.
Turned on Bluetooth speaker begin jam gbedu. As the gbedu dey enter, I dey add pepper to the blender.
“Hmmm, eskelebetiolebeteeee”
I think I added like five big habaneros first, I added other stuff in the blender, and as I was about to blend it. I added two more.
“Hmmm, o ta lenu. Oya let’s go.”
While it was blending, I wasn't convinced enough, so I added another 1.
The pepper blended for a while and the moment I opened it, the aroma of the pepper hit my face.
The way I coughed. That was when I knew something was wrong. But I didn't break. A voice spoke to me:
“I'm with you my mother’s child. Don't break”
Hmmm
See, when the pepper started boiling was when I knew I had messed up.
I began to cough and sneeze
“Haaa, gourd has broken mehn”
You see the moment I tasted it.
Mo ni, “fvckkkkkkk mo ti si ata Se”
I first sat on the floor, and started counting the “rodo” I added:
“Omo what happened? Why is it pepper like this? I only added 7 nau, abi 8. Is there a spirit in this house that added more?”
“You know what? Na winter we dey, this will be good for the cold.”
Bro, I didn’t fully understand the magnitude of the pepper situation until I started eating. I began to sweat after three spoons, before you know it, I started crying.
“Hmm ekun egbere while eating. Tears of joy”
I couldn’t finish it. Haaa.
Bros came back from work, “Omo, did you cook?” I said yes.
“See bring food for me please. I am really hungry”
You see the first spoon bros put for mouth, omo, God saved him that he was sitting. Baba for get stroke 😭😭😭😭
Bros first hold something, then held his chest. Na so bros begin cough. 😭😭
“Ha ha, what is going on?”
Coughs…
“How many Haba..…”
Coughs…
“Nero did you put in the stew?”
Kept coughing….
“Omo, boya 8”
“Ha ha ha ha?!! 8 keh? Do you want to kill someone? Two is enough now!”
“Okay, but bro e sweet sha”
“Wo ba mi tan fan yen” 😭
You see when the rest of the guys came back and they ate that food. 😭😭😭😭😭
I nearly pai those people that day.
None of them could finish it.
“Etubo ha ha!! What happen nau. You wan wound person? Na only you go first cook?”
Me: I'm with you my people. It's still sweet nau. I ate it too.
“Oya come chop am again”
Me: 😒😒😒😒
