@TTChelps@BradMBradford@beynate@cityoftoronto Woodbine loop. This is everyday, rain or shine, hot or cold it doesn’t matter. TTC believes the noise fluctuates with weather conditions. It does not. It’s high pitch 24/7. Brutal…
This is the FIRST sound I hear when it wakes me up. It’s the LAST sound I hear before I fall asleep.
All day.
All night.
Every few minutes.
It’s so loud — indoors even — it drowns out a TV or phone call.
🔈Sound on to hear the nice and peaceful sounds of an insane volume of streetcars in the #Toronto Beaches at Queen/Kingston. They block sidewalks constantly, forcing pedestrians onto a busy road. This is life here now. All day, every day. @TTChelps@BradMBradford@marymargaretbey
SOUND ON. Now imagine this 200+ times per day and you have an idea what it's like to live in #Toronto Beaches Triangle right now, previously one of the loveliest spots in the city. @TTChelps have destroyed it without any effort to correct. Disgraceful. @TTCNewsroom@TTCnotices
Residents in The Beach Triangle say screeching streetcars using the Woodbine loop are driving them off the rails. But how loud is too loud? https://t.co/KaFx5ZaM3Z

Despite promises to @BradMBradford that @TTChelps staff would lubricate tracks x3 per day, the screeching continues. #Woodbine loop cannot handle this volume of #streetcars. It regularly forces pedestrians onto the road (including mothers with strollers). Embarrassing! #toronto
