@idrwalerts Engine is extremely tough thing, fine. But shame on us if we can't design airframe with millions of techies out of 8000+ AICTE approved engg colleges & when DRDO has RAM, RAS, EW, etc. Only AMCA got geometry, no other new jet in lat 15yrs, this is sabotage.

@swaramehtaa In future, <100KN ok for UAVs. F135 already at 191 KN. Manned stealth jet will need 2x 180-200KN wet thrust engines. Our domestic/JV should aim like that.

@manojzxc@VishnuNDTV N-AMCA or 5G-TEDBF, it's fault of past GoI/MoD+DoD sleeping for 2 decades, stalling R&D, continuing import-culture. What we sow is what we reap. In 6G era we'll be stuck with new "4G flying coffins". Perhaps present GoI/MoD don't want DoD to repeat historical mistakes.
@manojzxc@VishnuNDTV Manoj, J-15 FF in 2009. Sorry but r u amnesic, demential, non-techie, blind? Check my posts comparing TEDBF w/ F-18SH, AMCA, F-35C. EMALS not strictly needed for 5gen. 4G TEDBF is bulky, can be converted to 5G in same volume. Project still in CAD state. ADA slept for 2 decades.
