We finished our amazing book filled week with Book Buddies. The classes mixed and read to each other, the younger ones listening intently whilst the older ones proudly read their chosen stories.

Today when the bell rung all children & staff picked up their books & read until they heard the bell ring again.
Y1 also watched a video to help them draw an illustrated character from a book they were reading.

Monday was Bedtime Stories, staff & children came to school in PJs & comfy clothes to read some amazing stories. With a choice of which ones they wanted to hear, the year groups mixed together and listening intently

In Year 4 DT lessons, they are learning about different structures. In groups they worked together to try and build solid structures with marshmallows and sticks (without sneaking any marshmallows for tasting!)

After our Year 6 class visited The House of Commons last month, it was lovely to receive a personal letter from Rachel Hopkins MP and see our name in print in the local paper.
A huge thank you to everyone who donated to our Harvest Festival appeal. Dunstable Foodbank were so grateful for all the food and wanted us to share this letter with you all.
