A Protestant can condemn every council, reject every father, disagree with every historic Christian, start his own church in a strip mall, and still call it “biblical Christianity.”
That should terrify people more than it does.
The Catholic Church does not ask each generation to reinvent Christianity.
The Church guards what was handed down.
No, the Catholic Church did not kill people simply for reading the Bible. That claim is a Protestant exaggeration. The Church preserved the canon, produced the Vulgate, and opposed unauthorized vernacular translations that promoted heresy or challenged its authority (e.g., Tyndale was executed for heresy by secular authorities in 1536, not just translation). Many Catholics read Scripture in Latin or approved forms.
Catholic Ninth Commandment: You shall not covet your neighbor's wife.
Roman pagans found the veneration of saints and relics repulsive, and is one of the reasons they hated Catholicism - or at least found it very odd
The irony is that Protestants have picked up the same criticisms of the church that the pagans used
JaBari was a non-denominational Protestant.
He just entered the Catholic Church. ❤️
He didn’t find a symbol.
He found Jesus.
Many will never experience this.
“A strong faith that’s serious about the truth
will follow the history wherever it leads.
And history doesn’t point to ‘Bible alone.’
It points to the Catholic Church.”

@Bankroll__Quest@unavainapudin@JoelXLorenzi This is a typical protestant talking point. I used to believe this too bro. I know you're not attacking me personally and I hope you know that I'm not attacking you either. I simply strongly disagree. I'm glad you have faith 🙏
@Bankroll__Quest@unavainapudin@JoelXLorenzi This is how I know you're delusional. Exactly what church do you think the apostles and their successors belonged to? The Latin Vulgate was specifically translated so the common man can read it. I worship The Lord Jesus Christ. You're lost
@Bankroll__Quest@unavainapudin@JoelXLorenzi Lol. " the Genesis of heresy" "Tried to stagnate the process of God".. pathetic slop. That "pagan Roman Church" is the reason you have a Bible in the first place. Lay off the tin-foil YouTube conspiracy theories and join me in reality. Those men were martyred for The Faith.
@Bankroll__Quest@unavainapudin@JoelXLorenzi That's fine. I don't care that you've "talked to Catholics", you gave 10 reasons and 90% aren't even what The Church teaches or are misunderstood. Your interpretation of Scripture is irrelevant to me. What you call heresy, early church fathers call the truth. I trust them more.
@Bankroll__Quest@unavainapudin@JoelXLorenzi This stuff is incredibly easily refuted with just the smallest amount of research. I suggest you do so before pridefully declaring The Church "heretical".
@Bankroll__Quest@unavainapudin@JoelXLorenzi Lol. I used to be a hardcore Baptist and listed all these as reasons why Catholicism was false. I studied for literally 2 years and to my surprise, just like you, I was wrong. Tradition over the Bible? That's lie. Works based salvation? Another lie. Deifying Mary? Also a lie.
@Bankroll__Quest@unavainapudin@JoelXLorenzi The Eucharist was instituted before the Bible. Confessing sins to a priest is biblical, Purgatory? Biblical, Indulgences was abused by the church no doubt. It did indeed stop. Sacraments are literally biblical. Idol worship? Lie. Changing the Commandments? Another lie.
@Bankroll__Quest@unavainapudin@JoelXLorenzi Name one heresy, just one, then we can go from there. Then tell me what denomination you are and we will see exactly who's the real heretic.
