@BBCNews referring to RFK Jr as a ‘vaccine sceptic’ is patently irresponsible.
It legitimises harmful, conspiratorial, and frequently ableist nonsense.
Vaccines work. There is nothing to be ‘sceptical’ about.
This is nominally exciting, though I expect it to still be pricier than flying, which will naturally disincentivise its actual use.
That being said I would prefer attention and effort to be directed to rail services and lines *inside* Wales.
A new direct service from Cardiff to Edinburgh, connecting the capitals of Wales and Scotland by train for the first time, will begin next month

Last Monday I had a heart attack. It is only thanks to the incredible care I received from the @NHS that I survived. The ongoing, preventable, easily fixable arts funding crisis in the UK is having massive effects on the physical and mental health of thousands of artists. Enough.
So much scandal in this documentary - disgusting but not surprising knowing what they do with the crown estate in Wales.
Horrified to hear the Monarchy charge Lifeboats to put slipways on shores... 😧

My friend told me he and his wife live paycheck to paycheck.
I don't believe it because they both are high earners in tech, and he even works for Google. But after doing a little bit of math, I found out he didn't lie.
• Mortgage: $17,000/month for a $3M home
• Property Tax: $3,000/month
• Private School: $3,000/month for 1 kid
• Travel: $2,000/month (assuming $20k/year)
• Utilities: $1,000/month
• Groceries: $2,000/month
• Eating Out: $1,000/month
• 2 cars: $1,000/month
So in total $30k per month, not including other misc costs like house maintenance, paying for Netflix, etc.
W-2 employees usually take home only 50% of their salary, so they have to make $60k per month pretax, which is $720k in annual TC.
What's the point of living a life like this?
Do you think the attacks on gender affirming care will also ban breast reduction surgery for cisgender boys with gynecomastia? Or “gender normalizing” surgeries on intersex babies? Or puberty blockers for cis kids with precocious puberty? I think we know the answer.
Bendigedig @llinos_medi !
Nuclear power is integral to the future of Wales.
Glad to see @Plaid_Cymru pushing what needs to be pushed to support communities like Ynys Môn, and what could be the key to revitalising the old industrial centres in the south.
In Westminster last night, I demanded clarity on Wylfa’s future. It’s time for us to get the answers we need on nuclear energy to move forward.

For people that don't understand the frustration and anger about this image.
Just picture Andrew Wakefield receiving a peerage for publishing his discredited paper claiming vaccines cause autism. This is just as offensive.
It’s telling that in defending labour’s #WinterFuelAllowance cuts, people are defaulting to the ancient ‘poor people can’t have nice things’ line.
It’s the same classist ‘cancel your netflix subscription & buy less coffee’ line that tories always use to justify their own cuts.
@Secondlina There’s actually a mythological king/god in the second branch of the Mabanogi called Bendigeidfran, which is sometimes anglicised as ‘Brân the blessed’. Either way, translates to ‘blessed crow’.
This is what austerity does.
Where does the money to give to schools come from?
Investment -> Better Schools -> Better Results -> Happier & More Productive Students -> Better Jobs -> Higher Earnings -> Earnings get Taxed -> More Money for Schools.
Education is an investment.
Our schools are suffering from chronic underinvestment.
As a result, our pupil needs are not being met.
It's time for a new government - a Plaid Cymru government that will support our education system.
