The earliest votes for the benefits "reform" is the 30th of June.
If anyone can or is able to mobilise now is the time to do so.
We need to fight this together and especially with those who are not disabled!

Like, holy shit, they preferred Mike to come off as a classic 80s homophobe who couldn’t touch gay people when they were being propagandized as dirty and diseased during the 80s crisis rather than gay himself. That’s actually fucked.
@thepeacepoet99@luce_lexi Of binding in a healthy manner. (No more than 8 hours at time. Multiple days without a week. Wearing the correct size as to not restrict my body more than is comfortable).
Of course going against healthy timelines and usage can increase risks. As can overwearing shoes & bras.
@thepeacepoet99@luce_lexi This data is still being collected and is not yet published officially. But from what has been collected so far the result is "this tissue is healthy. No further risks of cancer. No significant loss of function or elasticity".
I had my own biopsies returned as healthy after 7 yrs
Latest poll puts Greens just two points behind Labour. When I said we weren't here to be disappointed in Labour but to replace them, I meant it.
Join us and let's make hope normal again.

You can’t just “push through” a genetic disease. You can’t just “push through” a blood disorder. There’s many disabilities where no matter how hard you push, it won’t do any good and might actually make things worse. Stop telling disabled people to push through their disability.
Disability aids that most people don’t think about:
Stair railings
Chairs and stools
Automatic can opener
Glasses
Voice activated things like Alexa and Siri
Grabber tools
Navigation like Google Maps
Pop Sockets for phones
Plastic straws
Not every aid is a wheelchair
@Simon1974_s Unfortunately, this may not be the case everywhere. We're just lucky where I'm based that people can still opt in to have both of they are eligible for one.
@Simon1974_s Fortunately, some areas are still providing the COVID vaccine upon request if you don't qualify anymore.
My dad was only offered the flu jab as a front line care worker. But when he asked for the COVID as well they gave it to him and explained that the system had changed.
@thetackleboxbtn@Simon1974_s I think it's more that some areas are offering it to a wider set of patients than is now "necessary".
My dad doesn't get both anymore on referral as a front line care worker.
But upon request to the GP they gave him it it just wasn't part of the referral to him.
He had to ask.
@EliErlick Nexoplanon does still contain sex hormones.
But doesn't contain estrogen.
So it seems issue for me seemed to be the estrogen. Progesterone is something my body and mind wasn't negatively affected by, which is interesting when you compare the three hormones' role in the sexes.
@EliErlick It took years of trail and error to find out that it's the right contraceptive to me.
In fact, we figured out I could tolerate nexoplanon before I came out as transgender and was referred to a gender clinic.
@dystopia_1776@Leigj1234@FrggnInTheRggn@Glinner No one made me do it. I wanted to. To be comfortable in myself.
All I did by consenting to HRT is allow my appearance to be influenced by the added hormones and recovered from anemia and stopped excessive bleeds from my periods.
No chromosome changes or body swapping involved.
@dystopia_1776@Leigj1234@FrggnInTheRggn@Glinner I started to focus on build strength, tolerance and improving my fitness to be more comfortable in my own body. NOT to change my body into someone else's.
I began HRT and opted to have surgery because I wanted to and knew the benefits outweighed the risks for me, personally.
