Some Alberta companies say the unstable political climate in light of the separation referendum question is spooking investors and prompting them to consider moving operations elsewhere: "It’s not good for us."

PM Carney: "Is it helpful to ask these fundamental questions? No, it's not helpful. Of course it's not. Is it the democratic will of Albertans? Did they vote for this in the last provincial election? No, they didn't. It wasn't on the ballot paper, it wasn't in the mandates or platforms of the governing party and the official opposition."
@Mechanist0@sarobertson_ Last I checked nobody voted for separatism in Alberta either. It wasn’t part of the UCP’s platform. They promised a tax break, not an Alberta police force, banning books, removing teachers’ rights to strike, privatizing healthcare, stealing from the disabled or separatism.
Alberta's historic province-wide protest on Friday, May 29, is not just about protesting separatism.
It's about protesting the many other things making life harder for working Albertans — a frozen minimum wage, two-tier health care, continued threats to pull Alberta out of CPP, AI data centres draining our water and coal mining polluting it, cuts to disability benefits, and SO much more.
@CarrieTait@camtait Our premier apparently enjoys punching down. Who steals $200/mth from the severely disabled? Who kicks them all of AISH & makes them reapply? Only a ghoul imo. She wastes billions on pet projects, yet treats the most vulnerable like dirt. Thank you for covering it as #msm won't
WOW!
Today Smith tried to perpetuate her spin on what duty to consult means and how it applies...
And Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew was having NONE of it!

@McDougallYYC@Dpodlowski The UCP is an extension of Trump Republicans. Transgender policy, school “choice”, privatized healthcare, blaming immigrants, banning books, eyeing pensions, cutting disability benefits, making vaccines harder to get, anti abortion.
@exposureivm@LauraBabcock@LukaszukAB Most of these things you list are provincial responsibilities. Alberta’s in the shitter because the UCP are useless and robbing Alberta blind.
Claim #2: Alberta is owned $167B from the CPP
Reality: Canada’s chief actuary said that calculation ‘does not respect’ federal law.
Tombe pegs the real number at $120B max
The $167B is just another made up separatist fantasy
Absolute bombshell. Col. Wilkerson drops a terrifying reality check. He confirms Benjamin Netanyahu possesses massive blackmail material on Donald Trump and his family.
The US President is completely compromised and forced to obey the Zionist regime to protect Melania.

YIKES!!!
The Alberta Prosperity Project’s NEW separation plan is making the rounds.
It claims Alberta loses $47B/yr to Ottawa and would somehow run a $45B surplus as a country.
Let’s check the math…..
🧵
Some day for Smith. Her party won't support federalism. She takes referendum heat from other western premiers. Column.

@_ttran@junonewscom@jasrajshallan None of those 300K separatist signatures have been verified. And the petition to stay in Canada got over 450K VERIFIED signatures. 🤡
Of course not, because abortion medications are not poisonous substances.
Mifepristone and misoprostol are both medications that are used for abortion, but are also used to address other medical conditions such as Cushing's syndrome hyperglycemia, fibroids, & gastric ulcers.
