Joseph Smith was a prophet.
The Book of Mormon and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints prove it.
Millions of souls on this side of the veil and billions on the other who have come to Christ are the fruits thereof.
Critics cannot change this fact.
@3OOFOXES @PTSPentax See Isaiah 53 about Christ’s atonement.
With His stripes we ARE healed.
Ezekiel 18:30-31 calls to repentance.
Isaiah 44:22 I have redeemed thee.
Ancient prophets speak of things to come as though they already have and at times referring to what will come.
@3OOFOXES @PTSPentax I agree with almost everything you say about old and new covenants.
But Christ’s blood, once shed, reached back and forward to all mankind.
Those who lived before and those who came after.
That is the power of His atonement.
All can accept His sacrifice.
@rsmith4547 I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
We don’t believe God is silent.
Revelation through prophets and apostles continues today.
His word is not closed.
He is not dead, nor doth He sleep.
His priesthood is on the earth.
@3OOFOXES @PTSPentax I reject your interpretation because it makes no sense. If that’s your ”proof” against the Book of Mormon, then you have absolutely nothing.
@3OOFOXES @PTSPentax So you believe that the Law of Moses, commanded by God, was a sin?
And all who lived before Christ are damned and not covered by the blood of Christ?
