Philosophy is useless. Theology is worse... Never Trumper. Recovering Republican. Experienced in geopolitical work. Avid Deist in the tradition of Ben Franklin.
The craziest thing about Trump sleeping in front of the cameras after spending all night crying on social media is that he’s mentioned in the unredacted Epstein files over a million times. We’re allowing a child rapist to remain President and he’s god fucking awful at it.
BREAKING: In a stunning moment, Republicans just BLOCKED Sen. Richard Blumenthal's attempt to get Veterans their retirement pay WITHOUT cutting disability benefits. Republicans will write blank checks to the military, then penny pinch when it's time to support our Vets.
Journalist Katie Phang's lawsuit against Todd Blanche and the Justice department over the withholding of Epstein files, may force Todd to comply in releasing the remaining files. Watch her do it. She is fearless.
Democrats just forced a vote to put an end to Trump’s $1.8 billion slush fund.
Every House Republican rejected it & voted to support your tax dollars going to cop beaters & right wing extremists. Despicable.
Rep. Rob Wittman (R-VA) faked a phone call for roughly 90 seconds after being asked about Speaker Mike Johnson’s comments regarding potential Social Security cuts.
The phone's screen remained visible, with his cheek inadvertently tapping different parts of the display.
@CalltoActivism There is a very simple rule in politics:
If people are accused of siphoning taxpayer money, you don’t get to act shocked when voters question everyone who stood near the transaction.
🚨REPUBLICANS HAVE A NEW REASON TO PANIC IN TEXAS
Republican Rep. Monica De La Cruz has allegedly accepted money from an insurance agent who was involved in a scheme that diverted hundreds of thousands of dollars from taxpayers.
One state investigator didn't mince words: Those involved "stole money from the citizens" and disguised it as legitimate fees.
Monica De La Cruz is supposed to represent the people of South Texas, not surround herself with people accused of ripping them off.
From the Texas Tribune:
After Mexican officials confirmed case of screwworm in Nov. 2024, USDA, under Joe Biden, closed southern ports of entry to live cattle imports to prevent spread of screwworm into U.S. Move also strained supply of cattle in Texas....
USDA reversed course in Feb 2025, after Trump took office, announcing opening of ports"
