@HullLordMayor We are hosting an event 2-4pm at Hammonds of Hull tomorrow to celebrate the opening of the second floor for ResQ. We know you have a book signing at 4, but it would be great if you could join us for half an hour to see the new floor in all its glory!
@RBWM can you please do something about the loose manhole cover on All Saints Avenue that I know has already been reported to you. I just fell through it. Fortunately I am not pregnant, a child or vulnerable and have escaped with a very bloody knee. It could have been a lot worse
Sorry but this is so tame for siblings. My sister once kicked me so hard in the face it knocked out my wobbly tooth all because I stole her Furby. So I text her off my mums phone saying she was adopted. Character building for us both.
Right, I’m done.
3 months ago, I was tasked with writing an article detailing “20 Transphobic JK Rowling Quotes We’re Done With”
After 12 weeks of reading her books, tweets, full essay & finding the context of these “quotes”, I’ve not found a single truly transphobic message🧵
I wrote about my epic battle for a C-section on the NHS and the unbelievable pressure women are put under to have a natural birth (features an entertaining picture of big son's mahoosive head which rather proves my point) https://t.co/0P7CeC5Ivt
@s_quenby from @nhsuhcw and @tommys is on a quest for answers to better understand why black women are at higher risk of miscarriage than white women. Maternal outcomes in general are worse for black and asian women. Here's what she's looking into...
Losing a baby to miscarriage is heartbreaking. I lost four pregnancies and it's far more common than most people think. It's really important that women - and men - talk about miscarriage and are open about their loss. A brave revelation from @carrielbjohnson.
@kneesyni@danbarker This is a really good example of why you should be careful what you class as ‘minimum viable product’. Rushing to get to consumer launch will cost them big time. You don’t get to launch stuff twice.
@theresa_may Why can I only have 30 people at my Church wedding on May 29th but the following day the Church will be legally allowed to hold over 200 people for regular worship? Why is this guidance not being updated given the data? #WhatAboutWeddings
Today we see reports across the media that hugging and kissing will be permitted in Step 3, starting from 17th May.
Over the last year, we have continually been told that weddings have been severely restricted because “there is alcohol and everyone is hugging and kissing”.
Parents should not have to go through three miscarriages before getting support. Please sign the @tommys petition today to improve miscarriage care across the UK https://t.co/3IYDWE2pQ8 #changethemiscarriagestory
Reform is needed. After my second miscarriage I just got told to ‘try again’ and that there’s nothing they can do until it happens a third time. No psychological support offered whatsoever despite a very traumatic and surgically invasive experience. #1in4#miscarriageawareness
I used to work with Sarah Everard; she was wonderful, great at drawing, kind & absolutely hilarious. She’s a real person, not some hanger on which to display your views about women. There are hundreds of people who will know her better than me & my heart breaks for them & her.
