Thank you SPTL Salford for making this happen. I’m sure I can speak for most of us, that we need a quiet space to recharge and gather our thoughts! @NWAmbulance

If one more politics programme uses "ambulance driver" one more time! Educate yourself and find a job description for an ambulance driver, then a paramedic, then an emergency medical technician. Also, we are an essential service not classed as an emergency service!
Ambulances are there to take you to hospital !
No -
Ambulances are there to bring trained clinicians to you in an emergency. If they can deal with your issue they will then discharge you at home.
But if you need further treatment then they may take you to hospital.
Spent most of my time rededucating people to self help i.e. over counter medicines, urgent care centres. 111 and their own gp today. An ambulance wasn't required to go to a busy A&E department to be "checked over". That is not what A&E is for. We are not a big yellow taxi! #NWAS
FACT: Just because you’ve arrived at hospital in an ambulance, does not mean you receive automatic priority over patients who make their own way.
If your condition does not require our life-saving ambulance clinicians then please consider making your own way if possible.
