@alixonmartinez2 By no means am I comparing D1 baseball to D3 baseball. With that said, saying D3 baseball is “shitty” is pretty ignorant.
In ‘25, we went to UW and beat ‘em 3-1. You don’t get that result if you have “shitty” players.
Would they beat us 90% of the time? Yes.
Just a thought.
Airport advice at 4am:
The D2, D3, NAIA, or JUCO coach that you ignore today might end up at a D1 program — or know someone who already is. Coaches talk.
Moral of the story: Don’t “big league” coaches who take time out of their day to reach out to you. Respond.
I played for Rock when he took over in ‘16 and ‘17, and am fortunate enough that he brought me onto his staff in 2018.
He’s taught me a ton, and I’m thankful to call him a friend. Congrats on 200 dubs. Onto the next.

@par7979@MarinersSteve@Mariners They’ve won 12 of their last 15, are back in the wild card race, and Sam Haggerty has 30 AB’s on the season. Their recent success is not because of Haggerty. You ride with the All-Star and hope he figures it out.
@MarinersSteve@Mariners He was an All-Star last year. Regardless of how this year has went for him, he is a better big leaguer than Haggerty. If he gets going, it just makes the M’s more dangerous. Gotta ride with your guys.
