@RhiHoyleYEG Alberta is one of the most affordable place in Canada ! That’s because we have a UCP government…the real affordability issues stem from the federal Gov wasting and stealing our tax dollars right in front of us. Public service issues are due to mass immigration. Simple! Wake up

@CoryBMorgan I think every MP should be independent and vote on bills/issues based on their own values and the values of their constituents that elected them. I think it is stupid that they always vote for what the Party wants …. What is the point of electing “individuals” ?

@LucaTheIntern I just can’t see that happening… what your are describing is a full blown war between public and private sector …. And the private sector is pretty tapped out and pissed off… so nothing good will come out of this ! And I still don’t think it would bring the NDP back in power.

The notwithstanding clause is written to override parts of the charter in a case like this where thinking of the kids means sending the teachers back to work!

@AlliAlliG @CurrieMica Are you having difficulty understanding ? The notwithstanding clause has been used many times by different governments ….Perhaps you should educate yourself on what this clause has been used for already! And I did not hear you whine about “trampled rights” during Covid ??
