Don Winslow just released a devastating video about who we used to be: a country that argued fiercely, then came together. Don made this in spite of violent threats on his life. And DON'T MISS the ending.
Watch it.
Remember what trump cost us.
It has been 12 years since the lives of 20 children and six educators were taken in minutes by a gunman armed with a Bushmaster AR-15 rifle and high-capacity magazines at Sandy Hook School in Newtown, Connecticut. Their legacies live on in the enduring movement that has been built over the last 12 years to end our nation’s gun violence epidemic.
The children whose lives were taken that day would have graduated from high school this year and moved on to pursue their dreams but, because our nation’s senseless and preventable gun violence crisis, they were robbed of that chance. Today and every day, we honor them—and the countless other victims and survivors of gun violence—with action. We stand firm in our belief that with collective action and fierce determination, we can and will end gun violence.
